My sinuses hurt so bad right now. Stupid tree pollen and mold. Go fall off a bridge. I've had this pressure/headache for about a week now, despite all the asprin I've taken and it will not go away like I want it too. It kinda makes me want to pull my head off my neck, or beat my head against a wall, just for some kind of relief or actual pain, instead of this unbearable pressure.

Max is still staying with me and I've finally gotten the whole story of why he and Jacob are fighting. We hadn't really talked about it beforehand because he didn't want to and I wasn't going to push him. He's the kind of person that can't be pushed to talk, he'll come to you and talk about it when he's ready and there's nothing you can do, but wait. So I did. Seems that his ex-boyfriend, Donovan, has been trying to get back into his life now, and while he wants nothing to do with him, Jacob can't seem to get that through his head. Donovan was a manipulative, emotionally abuse bastard to Max and when Max got away from him, it took him awhile to recover from that. Jacob should know, he's the one that put Max together again and held him together. Jacob's just being insecure, I suppose. Max has made it clear to him that he wants nothing to do with Donovan, but for some reason, Jacob doesn't believe him, though Max has never given him a reason not to. They're on the phone now, and it seems like it's going well, so maybe everything will be alright in the next couple of days.

About a hour ago, I got back from spending some time with Michelle and discussing her relationship problems with Ivan. They have the tendency to dance around each other going "I want you, but I don't want to say I do". Then Michelle tells him her true feelings and he rejects her with the reasoning of "I can't love you the way you need me to." I think he does, just by the relationship they've had for 9-10 years. You don't do all the things they've done for each other without there being some kind of love there. So what I think it boils down to is that he's scared he's going to hurt her, or he's scared she's going to hurt him or both. I think she just needs to let him make the move now and see what happens.

All this kind of boggles my mind because people are coming to me for relationship help and I'm the one that has the trust issues and therefore have had about four serious relationships in my adultlife. Granted, I'm only 23, but whatever. I love them, so I'll help anyway I can and if that means pulling advice out of thin air, then so be it. XD

On to less depressing topics. I have a new favorite song! "Sin With A Grin" by Shinedown! It's awesome. :D

Today is my niece's and dad's birthday. Emily is 6 and my dad is 62. Anne took dad out to eat with Emily and I gave him a $50 Visa giftcard and Michelle got him some shirts and sweats. Then I went to Toys R Us with Anne, KK, Chelsea, and Emily. I totally bought a sippy cup meant for a toddler just because it has my name on it. XD It's awesome and I'm so using it. :D? Emily got some art stuff and a cup with "Girls Rule" on it becuase they didn't have her name on a cup. They were out. She also got a this grabber arm/hand thing. IDEK.

So tired. I'm going to shower, then read some and then it's night night for me. :)

So, life. Work, work, work, fandom, family!drama, work, writing, work, friends!drama, work, and did I mention work? With some sleep thrown in here and there.

I got a bruise on my arm from a shelf at work. It's ugly and swollen and has a knot in the middle of it. It's gross and it hurts. *pouts*

Michelle is having relationship problems with her friend/lover, Ivan. Apparently he has a girlfriend and Michelle feels like he's been toying with her all these years because he knew that she's in love with him and he always said that he didn't feel the same. *sigh* I just don't understand their relationship, but I do hope they work it out. I always thought that he was a pretty cool guy.

Jacob and Max having been fighting a lot lately and Max has been staying with me for the past couple of days, so they can cool off. I think they'll be alright though, they do love each other. Max is also a bed and cover hog too. I don't have a guest room and I wasn't going to make him sleep on the couch when I have a King size bed. He's gay anyway, so I don't care. XD Also, human heat pump, which is awesome because it's cold here.

I want my hair to grow faster. I used to have really, really long hair, but then I got it cut really short and now it's stuck in that in between phase that looks stupid and you can't do anything with. My life, so hard, flist.

I'm debating signing up for story_lottery again this year, because I had a lot of fun writing for it last year, but I have so many other challenges going on too. I think I will, and see how everything works out.

I've started on the TV show Supernatural, and I love it! I'm only on episode 11 of season one, but it's amazing so far and yes, I know I'm late to the party and all, but at least I'm here finally. XD

I've got to go write help_haiti from me. Sorry it's late, hun! Big Wolf On Campus ftw! :D

Hi all. I haven't been around much, sorry. My dad got out of the hospital Friday and is doing just fine. <3 Michelle and I went and picked him up and boy, he was glad to go.

Wednesday was kind of bad because I was late for work and then when I got there, Uncle Jesse takes one look at me and says "Go home, Synner, you look like shit. Go back to bed." Which I did look bad, what with the dark lack of sleep circles under my eyes that basically make it look like someone gave me two black eyes. So I did and slept all day with the odd text from Jacob, Max, Kevin, and Brooks waking me up off and on.

Thursday was fine. Wasn't late to work and wasn't sleep deprived! Went out after work for coffee with Jacob and Max who are very very cute boyfriends. *hearts them*

Friday I picked up my dad with Michelle after work. Brought him home and got everything settled over at the 'rents house.

Saturday, I went to the bar to hang out with Max, Jacob, James, Jamie, Kevin, Angel, and Annette and Marie. Was very fun and relaxing. Earlier that day I went to the park to play Tennis with Brooks, Diana and Kevin. Very awesome and fun.

Today I am relaxing and writing fics for my prompt tables because omg I did not realize I claimed so many for the same fandom and pairing. XD Also going to work on my 'Ace Of Flames' X-Men Remy/John fic because I rediscovered my love of that pairing thanks to comment_fic which is super addicting! Go and prompt and write comment!fics, flist!

I think that's about it in my life. Might go over to Jacob and Max's later for Rock Band Epic Battle which I will win and Jack Daniels. Fun, y/y?

So I offered to write a fic of at least 1,000 words on help_haiti from all my various fandoms. I might go bid on some stuff later.

It's been a fairly uneventful day. I went with mom and Michelle to go see my dad in the VA. We brought him some KFC grilled chicken. No more salt for him. They're talking about doing another bypass on him, but that makes no sense to me as bypasses are usually done on people who have problems on the front of their heart. All my dad's problems are on the back of his heart, but what do I know? Not a doctor. I'll leave it to them, but he wants to put it off and that's not good because that's what one of my mom's brothers died from. Putting off his heart surgery when all his doctors warned him not to. Men, why are you so stubborn about your health?

Yesterday was fun. I went to CiCi's pizza with Diana, Michelle, Brooks, and Christian. We stuffed our faces then went to see the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. Was pretty cute and funny. Good singing on there.

My shoulder hurts for some reason. All the muscles around my shoulder blade feel like I've pulled them, but maybe I just slept wrong on them. Also the weather is making my right elbow ache, but that's because I broke it in the second grade.

I'm so tired. I slept like shit last night. Couldn't fall asleep and when I finally did, I couldn't stay asleep. I need a nap, but I know if I take one, then it's going to be hard for me to go to sleep at night. *sigh*

Went to work and did work!stuff in a daze because I was so tired. Nothing really noteworthy happened. Not that I can remember anyway. XD

I don't really have anything to say. Babysitting my niece Emily for Anne while she's at work. She just fed me a bite of milk and paper soup. Yay. Lol. XD

At the hospital they're going to put a splint in my dad's heart. Which is good, he needs a new I guess. Not sure about all the details because a)not a doctor and b)things like that make me twitchy. XD

He's fine though. Calls every couple of hours to annoy my mom. :D Hates the food and can't wait to get home. He's really doing better.

Not much going on in my life at the moment. Just writing and reading fanfic. Speaking of which does anyone have any/know of any Sean Cameron/Tracker Cameron slash out there? There's nothing on ff.net, but I'd really like to read some. (Tracker is Sean's older brother on Degrassi). Why do I like all the rare pairings where there's virtually no fanfic on it? *sigh*

It turns around and does the opposite.

My dad is back in the hospital after an ambulance was called out to my parent's house because my sister and my mom couldn't wake my dad up. He was snoring like he was asleep, but nothing they said or did woke him up. They called the paramedics adn they gave him an injection and an IV solution and oxygen. I came with Uncle Jesse from work to watch Emily, my five year old niece, who was over at my parents house because they were watching her while Anne was at work. Michelle went with my dad back to the VA hostiptal.

He was awake and responsive when they put him in the ambulance. Turns out that because he was throwing up all night and didn't feel like eating today, his blood sugar dropped to 24. The normal, healthy range for an adult is 117-120. My dad is a diabetic too. When you're a diabetic, you've got to eat something everyday or this will happen. Thankfully, it wasn't his heart, but when I walked in that room and couldn't wake him up either, it scared me.

I did cry a little bit when they brought him out on the stretcher, because you know, that's my dad. I'm a daddy's girl. I've always thought of him as being big, strong, but a teddy bear. Now that he's getting older, it's hard for me to see him with all these health problems, but I've got to be strong for him and my mother, who is very fragile right now because she's sober and can't numb herself with pills.

I haven't heard anything from Michelle yet, but hopefully they'll admit him and everything will be fine.

Uncle Jesse just left. Poor guy. He's my dad's younger brother and I think it scared him too, though he's hiding it.

I'm about to go over to Anne's apartment to watch her kids while she takes mom to the VA to pick up Michelle and check on dad.

I'll update later, when I get home and have more info.

My dad is back from the hospital and is doing much better. Thank you to everyone who wished him well! Your sympathy was very much apperciated and a comfort. <3

I'm making this short and sweet because a)I'm tired and b)I have work in the morning.

So, they finally figured out what was wrong with my dad. Seems one of his blood pressure medications was messing with his kidneys, causing them to not function properly and there was a build up of toxins and things of that nature. So they took him off of that one and doubled the dosage of the other one and he should be coming home tomorrow. :D

ION, I want sionnain 's house because she redid some rooms and it looks cool *grabby hands* I don't think I've convinced her to give it to me yet, but I'm working on it, lol. XD

Alright, I'm tired.

My resolutions are:

1) Lose at least 20 pounds. Spare tire goes on my car, not my waist.

3) Be nicer to people.

4) Try to fix my relationship with my mother.

Talked to my dad this morning. Seems okay. He saw his doctor and they're putting him on some new Blood Pressure medicine. That's why they're keeping him in the hospital because his BP is so out of wack. It goes up and down and it concerns them. Turns out it's not the fluid that's the problem, but there's no clear answer as to why he's feeling like this. -__-

We saw my dad again yesterday. They had done some more heart tests down in Nuclear Medicine. XD I have no idea what that is, but they're doing a stress test and PETscans down there to him. He looked better. Still had chest pain and on blood thinners, but he's slowly getting better. Don't know when he'll be home though.

One thing that pissed me off though was that they didn't take him to his eye clinc appointment after we told the nurses on his floor that he had one at 8:45 that morning. Whatever though. He had eye surgery about two weeks ago to try to regain some vision in his right eye. He has diabetic retnopathy.

Seriously though, people that drive on the freeway need to learn what a fucking blinker is. Jeez. X_X

I didn't get to go up there to see him today because I'm at work, but he has a phone in his room, so I'll call him. :)

I'm really freaking tired, so yeah. Only got two more hours 'til I can go home. Time to do work stuff. XD

Michelle took Dad to the VA Hospital ER last night. He was admitted at 11:00 pm because his blood pressure was 213/109. Way over stroke level. They gave him magnesium sulfate and that helped somewhat, but as soon as it ran out in his IV, his BP went right back up. His other symptoms were chest/back pain, coughing, vomiting, uncontrollable shaking, and he was cold all the time.

Michelle, Mom, me, Uncle Jesse, James and Jacob visited him this morning around 9 am. He was doing better and the problem was fluid build up in his lungs because of his congestive heart failure. They're going to keep him for a few more days at least, until they drain it, I suppose. He looked better. Seemed tired and weak, but he was talking and seemed to be doing okay. Though the room was oddly hot. Most hospital rooms are freezing, but not this one.

Michelle, Jacob, and I went down to the Canteen to get sodas for everyone. There was a nice man in the elevators that was telling us about the gym and basketball court they have there. On the way down there, we saw Bagel!guy. There's this really nice man that has a motorized cart with a basket on the front that he fills with bagels that his wife bakes and he takes it up there and sells them every Tuesday. :D

As we were leaving, I played chess with another man. He won, but I'm rusty. XD It was fun and kind of random. People there are some of the nicest, most interesting people you will ever meet. They're veterans with their families and they tell amazing stories. Whenever my day wears his Vietnam Veteran hat, he always makes a friend. Or two. :)

I like the place, I just don't think I could work there. I would get too attached to people. I'm far too sensitive for that. It would break my heart and it's in enough pieces as it is. :/

People drive like assholes though. Fuckers. >:(

Uncle Jesse went home and Michelle took mom home and Jacob and James came back with me to my place. I made us breakfast tacos with spicy!sausage. Then they left and I tried to go back to sleep, but only dozed for about two hours before giving up. It only made me more tired. So I'm sitting here drinking fruit punch simply for the sugar. I feel exhausted.

Yesterday, Michelle and I went to Target and I spent my gift card from Anne, KK, Chelsea, and Emily. I got some John Freida shampoo and conditioner, Deal Or No Deal board game, "Play Up The Blue" eyeshadow and some lipstick. I have about 7 dollars and some change left on it. :)

I think that's about it. My hands are cold. :| I don't like that. XD
